My hubs and son went to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" this weekend. Apparently, the main character had food allergies. When she brought it up in the movie, my son said out loud, "I'm allergic to nuts too!!!" My family loved the movie, and said that the allergy references were kept positive and accurate (as can be depicted in a cartoon kids movie). The only ones I can recall are Nancy Drew and Hitch.
